Vior Inc., a Quebec-based exploration company, is seeking applicants for two short-term contract roles at their Core Shack in Belleterre, QC. These positions are ideal for motivated individuals interested in the mining and exploration field.
Responsibilities include:
• Cutting and splitting diamond drill core
• Bagging, tagging, and preparing samples
• Verifying core boxes and footage markers
• Maintaining equipment and adhering to safety protocols
• Supporting geologists and field technicians
Responsibilities include:
• Assisting with drill core processing, orientation, and technical work
• Using computers (Word/Excel)
• Puzzling and teching core
• General upkeep of the shack and support in the field
Shared Qualifications:
• Previous experience is an asset, but not required – training available
• Must be physically able to lift up to 25kg
• Strong communication in English and French
• Class 5 license required for Core Shack Labor
• Willingness to work 14 days on, 14 days off rotation
• Reliable transportation is essential
