Join the Sustainable Development Department at LPFN
Under the direction of the Director of Sustainable Development, the CEDO will research, plan, and implement programs to stimulate investment, support local businesses, and promote economic growth across LPFN. This includes overseeing community economic development plans, preparing funding proposals, and managing projects.
🧭 Key Responsibilities:
Research public and private funding opportunities
Act as project manager for LPFN band projects
Monitor business activity and verify payroll
Promote entrepreneurship, local tourism, and Aboriginal culture
Support job creation, business planning, and joint ventures
💼 Qualifications:
College diploma in Business Admin, Economics, Project Management, or 3 years of related work experience
Strong understanding of Algonquin and First Nations economic issues
Ability to use Microsoft Office, make presentations, and work bilingually (English/French; Algonquin is an asset)
Valid driver’s license; clear criminal record required
📍 Working Conditions:
Occasional travel, training, and overtime may be required
