The Algonquin Anishinabeg Nation Tribal Council (AANTC) has officially announced its upcoming Political Council Elections, scheduled for December 3, 2025. Members from the seven affiliated communities, including Long Point First Nation, will vote for Grand Chief, Women’s Representative, and Elders’ Representative. LPFN proudly congratulates Kathleen Jerome for her acclamation as Vice-Grand Chief—a significant milestone for our Nation. To vote, members must register by November 26, 2025.
