Feb 10, 2026
Long Point First Nation community members are invited to participate in an Algonquin Anishinabe Unity Accord Workshop as part of the Manadjiton Aki initiative.
The Long Point First Nation session will take place on:
📅 Date: Wednesday, February 18, 2026
⏰ Time: 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
📍 Location: Community Hall
These workshops provide a space for Anishinabe people to come together to discuss unity, governance, land protection, and the future of Anishinabe-led decision-making. Discussions are grounded in the Seven Grandfather Teachings, Traditional Ecological Knowledge, and the principle of free, prior, and informed consent.
If community members are unable to attend the session in Long Point First Nation, they are welcome to participate in another workshop taking place in a neighboring Algonquin community, on the dates listed in the invitation.
Community participation is encouraged as part of a collective effort toward unity, prosperity, and legacy.
