Join us on Thursday, August 21, 2025, starting at 1:00 PM on Kijigate Mikina (New Street) for a historic community celebration — the Kijigate Block Party & Inauguration of Kijigate Mikina Extension!

This special day will feature:

• Grand Entry with traditional drummers, dancers, flag carriers, and dignitaries

• Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

• Community Vendors offering crafts, food, and desserts

• Activities for All Ages – inflatables, games, BBQ, photo booth

• Live Music: Julie Duguay & NordWest Country Band, Tribute to Chris Stapleton & Luke Combs

• Fireworks to close the evening

We’re still looking for:

• Vendors of all kinds – crafts, food, desserts, and more

• Traditional drummers and dancers to participate in the Grand Entry at 1:00 PM

Vendor & Dancer Info:

• Set-up before 1:00 PM – tables provided

• Vendor spaces: First-come, first-served – no cost

• Dancers: Traditional regalia encouraged

• Drummers: Bring your own hand drum
