Position Overview

The Medical Transportation Assistant is responsible for coordinating medical transportation services, scheduling appointments, and supporting patients with travel arrangements. This role works closely with healthcare staff and external service providers to ensure efficient and timely transportation services.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and organize medical transportation schedules
• Prepare driver and transporter schedules
• Schedule medical appointments and optimize transportation logistics
• Inform patients of appointment details and pickup times
• Arrange travel and accommodations when required
• Prepare payment requisitions for travel-related expenses
• Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals and external offices
• Maintain communication with patients, clinics, and hospitals
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience in coordination or management is an asset
• Strong organizational and planning skills
• High level of confidentiality and discretion
• Strong communication skills (English required; French is an asset)
• Ability to work independently
• Computer skills and administrative knowledge

Salary Range

$36,674.80 to $43,680.00
