Amo Ososwan School is seeking a full-time Behaviour Technician for a term contract from September to June, starting August 18, 2025. This role supports students who require additional help managing behaviour, emotions, and classroom focus through a dedicated Support Room.

• Term: Full-time, 35 hours/week, September to June

• Salary: Based on grid

🧠 Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise Support Room during school hours

• Provide emotional and academic support

• Assist students in regulating emotions and refocusing

• Document interventions, collaborate with staff, support IEPs

• Participate in training related to mental health and trauma-informed care

✅ Requirements:

• Diploma in Special Ed or Classroom Assistant (or willingness to obtain)

• Must pass Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC)

• Experience with First Nations students

• Knowledge of behaviour strategies and emotional regulation

• Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork
