The LPFN Youth Council is excited to announce the new date for the Youth Gala 2025, now taking place on Saturday, June 21, 2025. This special gathering will celebrate the spirit of community, culture, and youth leadership through the lens of the Seven Grandfather Teachings:
Love, Respect, Honesty, Courage, Wisdom, Humility, and Truth.
We are accepting nominations for LPFN youth aged 13–17 who represent one of the Seven Grandfather Teachings in their everyday lives. Each recipient will be honoured during the Gala with a special award.
Nominations Open: April 9, 2025
Nominations Close: June 18, 2025
Eligibility: Youth must be between 13–17 years old and be an LPFN member or resident

We’re hiring 3 youth to support the Gala! This is a great opportunity to gain experience and earn an honorarium.
Available Positions:
Youth MC – $150
Speak at the event, guide the program, and energize the audience.
Youth Door Watcher – $150
Help greet guests, monitor entrances, and ensure a safe space.
Youth Janitor (Clean-Up Crew) – $100
Assist with clean-up and help us leave the gym spotless.

This event is drug- and alcohol-free and is being led by the LPFN Youth Council, with support from the CCP Coordinator and the LPFN Council Member responsible for Youth.
