Beginning today, December 10, 2025, the new E911 emergency service is officially active for all telephone landline users in Winneway.
As noted in the public memo, standard provincial 911 fees will now appear on your landline bill unless you have already provided proof of Indian Status to your phone provider. LPFN members with a valid Status Card are exempt from these fees for both landline and mobile services.
If you have not yet submitted your Status Card to your provider, we encourage you to do so as soon as possible to avoid being charged.
