Advance Polling & Election Day

Attached is a notice to all Long Point First Nation members advising that there will be an election for the positions of Vice-Chief and one Councillor on the Long Point First Nation Council.

Advance Polling will be held on August 22, 2026, at the Elders Centre, located at 130 Naneweak Mikana, Winneway, Quebec. Polling will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Election Day will be held on August 26, 2026, also at the Elders Centre. The polling station will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

After the polls close on Election Day, the ballots will be opened at the Community Hall, located at 112 Kakinwawigak.
