Amosesag Childcare Centre is currently seeking applications for the position of Educator (Permanent).

General Function

Under the authority of the Executive Director of the Childcare Centre, the Educator is responsible for supporting children in all aspects related to their development, safety, hygiene, health, and well-being. The Educator plans and organizes a balanced educational program for the assigned age group.

Main Duties Include:

• Planning and preparing educational activities
• Leading activities that stimulate children’s cognitive, physical, emotional, social, and cultural growth
• Assisting children with daily needs while encouraging autonomy
• Maintaining communication with parents regarding children’s progress and needs
• Supporting intervention plans for children with special needs
• Creating a caring and stimulating learning environment
• Participating in training sessions and meetings

Qualifications:

• College Diploma or Certificate in Early Childhood Education
• Experience working with children
• Knowledge of Anishnabe language and culture
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Computer skills
• Must undergo an impediment check
• First Aid Training

💲 Salary: According to the MFA salary scale
