Long Point First Nation is pleased to share an employment opportunity with Redpath Canada Limited at the IAMGOLD Westwood Mine.

Redpath is currently seeking an Underground Truck Driver to support operations at the Eastwood Development Project located at the Westwood Mine.

Position Details

• Position: Underground Truck Driver
• Employer: Redpath Canada Limited
• Location: IAMGOLD Westwood Mine
• Rotation: 7 Days On / 7 Days Off
• Shift Length: 12-Hour Shifts

• Travel and allowances provided based on location

Under the supervision of the Shift Supervisor, the successful candidate will be responsible for hauling and dumping ore and waste underground using a 30-ton truck while maintaining safe and efficient operations.

Requirements

• FMTM (Formation Modulaire du Québec) or equivalent Ontario Underground Hard Rock Mining Common Core
• Valid Driver’s License
• General Explosives Permit
• Must pass pre-employment Drug and Alcohol Testing
• Strong commitment to workplace safety

LPFN Sustainable Development Department will conduct an initial screening of interested candidates before forwarding applications to Redpath.
